Earthstar heard pawsteps. "Go away, Lioneyes! I already told you that I'm gonna forget about her if she doesn't really love me!" he growled, his voice breaking. He was devastated!

Nightfrost stepped back, a little surprised at the force in Earthstar's voice. "Umm, Earthstar. Its me." Nightfrost mewed, scared at what Earthstar might say next.

Earthstar's green eyes widened. He stumbled to his den's entrance. "Nightfrost! W-what do you need?" he asked, his eyes darkening sadly. His dark fur was ruffled and messy.

Nightfrost was starting to feel tears filling up her eyes and making her sight a little fuzzy. "I came to talk to you. I didnt mean what I said. May I please come in and talk with you?" Nightfrost's mew was more like a plea. Nightfrost dazzling crystal eyes were gleaming with saddness.

"Uh, sure." he replied, licking his fur flat. His eyes were now calm and loving.

"Thank you." Nightfrost mewed as she brushed her cheek against Earthstar's. Then she turned to face him and mewed, "Earthstar, I truly do have feelings for you. I didnt want the Clan to think oddly of it. And I didnt want you to get hurt. In all truth, I-I- I love you Earthstar." Nightfrost blurted out.

Earthstar's eyes brightened. "R-really?" he asked, rubbing up against her lovingly.

"Yes, ever since I could remember, Earthstar." Nightfrost purred loudly.

Earthstar led Nightfrost back into the main clearing. His purr could be heard before he even entered the large clearing.

Nightfrost was happy that she explained everything to Earthstar. Now they can be together. "I am sorry that I hurt you, Earthstar." Nightfrost mewed, as she was padding right next to Earthstar.
