Main Clearing

"I forgive you Earthstar. There was nothing to appoligize for anyway." Lioneyes mewed.

Nightfrost pressed closer to Earthstar and purred.

Icekit raced up to Lioneyes and jumped onto his back. "I got you!" he yowled.

Lioneyes yowled and tumbled over and mewed, "You did!" Lioneyes then picked up Icekit and sat him down, purring with amusement.

Patchkit howled with laughter and jumped onto her father, biting down on his ear and yanking it ,hard. "Patchkit! You'll hurt him, not too ruff, dear!!" Snowfall mewed worriedly.

Lioneyes tried to find his paws, but was tackled with his kits! "They are okay, Snowfall." Lioneyes purred to his mate. After a moment of playing, Lioneyes found his footing and got to his paws.

"Okay.." Snowfall mewed uncertainly. Earthstar purred, he wished he had kits!

Nightfrost saw the longing look in Earthstar's eyes when he watched Lioneyes's kits play with him. Nightfrost also wanted to have kits, but she knew that since they would be Earthstar's kits, they wold be perfect.

Earthstar looked at Nightfrost and smiled. "Thanks for coming after me and always being there." he mewed.

Nightfrost then faced Earthstar and purred, "I will always be there with you." Nightfrost then rubbed her cheek against his.

"Ewww! They're getting all lovey-dovey!" Icekit shrieked. Earthstar just laughed.

Nightfrost purred, "You sure you want kits?" Nightfrost mewed.

"Of course!" Earthstar meowed excitedly.

Nightfrost purred. "So do I." She then pressed close to Earthstar and intertwined her tail with his.

Icekit and Patchkit jumped onto Earthstar and Nightfrost's backs, digging their tiny claws in.

Nightfrost let out a small yowl and then lightly swatted the kits off Earthstar and herself. "Whats your mother going to think when she sees you jumping onto everyone!?" Nightfrost purred.

"She's going to think 'My kits are little monsters and should get back into the nursery'." Snowfall mewed, frowning at her crazy kits.

Nightfrost turned to face Snowfall and mewed, "They werent much to deal with." She then nodded to the queen.

Lioneyes was padding up to stand beside Snowfall, when he saw that his crazy kits were getting into trouble again. "Hey you bunch, lets go play somewhere else?" Lioneyes mewed to them.

"Ok.." the kits mewed, disappointed. Earthstar laughed at the amusing kits.

Lioneyes stared down at his disappointed kits, "Hey dont be sad, we can have fun anywhere." Lioneyes mewed, trying to sound cheerful.

"Yeah!" they yowled and raced after their father excitedly.

2 Moons Later

Earthstar raced to the nursery. His kits were coming!

Nightfrost was in the nursery, panting. She started kitting since the crack of dawn. "Earthstar!" Nightfrost has been saying ever since she started. Agonizing pain kept rippling along her flank.

Earthstar greeted Lioneyes's returning patrol with a friendly smile.

"All is plentiful, Earthstar!" Lioneyes yowled in great excitement.

"that's relieving, Lioneyes. Good job." Earthstar mewed, his green eyes mysterious yet proud and kind.

Lioneyes dipped his head and dropped his catches on the fresh-kill pile.
